COLUMBIA HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS IMPROVEMENTS

This project consists of five separate areas. An addition to the existing field house, a new football field house, a new baseball field house, a new guard shack and exterior upgrades to the existing main school house.

We started with the site demolition including landscaping, curb and gutters, asphalt paving and appurtenances in preparation for new building pads. The new football fieldhouse had to be undercut approximately 8,000 CY. We also used 2,600 CY of engineered fill split between all new construction.

The new buildings were CMU with brick and wood trusses wit asphalt shingle roofs. The existing building required replacement of approximately 30,000 SF of failing stucco siding with new metal wall panels and trim.

Interior finishes include tile flooring and showers, astroturf, rubber flooring and stained concrete. Acoustical ceilings, new full height lockers, room signage, toilet accessories and aluminum blinds were installed throughout. An elaborate security system was installed as well.
