ALBERTVILLE HIGH SCHOOL BAND ROOM

The overall scope of this project takes an aging multi-purpose coliseum and refurbishes it into a state-of-the-art High School Marching Band practice facility.

Site demo included a slab from an old storage building, curbs and gutters, and sidewalks to allow for new concrete ramp to a new loading dock. The building demo included a built-in stage with foundation, exterior stage walls, gymnasium floors, windows, doors, CMU and wood/ gypsum board partitions, ceilings and other finishes. We also removed all basketball goals with rigging, bleachers, steel stairs and guard railing throughout.

We extended an area of the building out where the stage was previously for a new percussion room. We renovated existing restrooms and built new ones on the 2nd floor. New uniform equipment, ensemble, conference, color guard, offices, elevator and skybridge were added. New roofing finishes and brick entrance with a new loading dock were added. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection were added to complete the project.
