Description:
This project consists of demolition, new Construction, and extensive sitework. The demolition included thirty existing structures including asbestos containing material removal. The new construction included 3 two-story buildings, 2 one story buildings, 2 dining facilities, 2 supply administration buildings, 1 battalion headquarters building, and relocation of a 25 foot by 80 foot pavilion. Eight of the ten buildings use Geothermal wells for heating and cooling. CCI had to re-grade the entire site which encompassed approximately 25 acres. The sitework included storm drainage, sanitary sewer, domestic and fire water, as well as gas and electrical. The buildings contained the following special finishes: epoxy floors, stained and sealed concrete, and polished concrete floors.
