District Courthouse – Renovation (107)

Judges suite and District Courtroom in Jackson, Mississippi consisted of a vacated post office area that Carmon Construction, Inc. demoed back to a bare structure. Then a new Judge’s suite with district courtroom was built. CCI built the judge’s suite and district courtroom from white oak trim and paneling. The courtroom also had part of three walls that were finished with natural cork for both beauty and sound. The Judge’s secretary’s office was decorated with natural grass wallcovering.

Judge Isaac C. Parker Federal Building and Courthouse – Courtroom Renovation (105)

The ISA for courts at the Judge Isaac C. Parker Federal Building and Courthouse at Ft. Smith, Arkansas began with the demolition of one-half of the second floor, which would become a new courtroom, judge’s chambers, library, clerk’s office and secretary offices. The court suite was finished in American Black Walnut with sequenced matched paneling

J.W. Solomon Federal Building & Courthouse (102)

The courtroom renovation at the Federal Courthouse in Chattanooga, Tennessee was Carmon Construction’s first of many court projects. This project consisted of the demolition of all finishes from an existing post office area and building a complete courtroom with judge’s chambers including offices for secretaries, law clerks and a complete law library. The courtroom and all of the judge’s chambers were done with walnut trim and paneling. The project included all electrical, HVAC, plumbing and sound systems required for a modern court facility.
